As a dancer I realized that there was no product available that was versatile and durable enough to wear outdoors and for practice and still stylish enough to dance in. After much research, I discovered that the concept of such a dance shoe was present but it lacked the desired look I wanted. So, I decided to create an innovative shoe that will meet dancers’ needs on and the dance floor, indoors and out. Thus, I blended the styles of dance shoes out there.

After months of development my idea, I, was able to create a sole that I felt met the expectation. “high quality, light weight, sleek and durable, Next, I developed my first dance shoe model in a number of stylish colors. After developing six models, I picked the best one to use for trial distribution.

The feedback was amazing, sensational. Everyone loved it and said that the shoes were exactly what they were looking for. Customers said that the shoes were very comfortable, allowed them to spin with ease and like never before. Even beginners said they felt like they were pros. The colors and designs were very stylish and trendy. So, the trial was a success.

After such a great response from the local dance community, I released my first collection at the DC Salsa Congress in 2008. Since then, JB Pro-Design (my company name), has continued to live up to the goal of creating new styles every year, always enhancing the materials, experimenting with new colors and making our product more flexible and more durable.

Even with the current economic crisis the US is experiencing, I have had continued success. Business is progressing steadily. Recently I have decided to redesign the classic style dance shoe, incorporating a 3’ heel for men with my revolutionary sole technology. Also, I will be releasing models with the traditional suede sole to pleased all dancers.

Our mission is to make a comfortable dance sneaker/shoes that not only feel great on the dance floor, but durable, stylish shoes that you can also wear for a night out on the town, day or night, rain or shine, Whether you are a professional, amateur or just a person who has a passion for dancing like me, I know you will enjoy my shoes.
